Red Leaf Kennels, LLC

Posted 5/26/2015
Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, Red Leaf Kennels will no longer be breeding Irish Setters. We have so enjoyed raising these beautiful pups and matching them to loving forever homes!

At this time, we are looking for a new home for our two adult Irish Setters, Harley and Ginger. They are about 3.5 years old, in good health, and are great family dogs. We have spayed our female but our male is still in tact. We are looking for a family interested in adopting them as a pair, preferably with some land for them to run around on. Both come with X-Large crates. Serious inquiries only, please. Interested persons will be background checked to ensure they are going to a safe, loving home. If you are interested, please contact us! E-mail us here.

Our puppies page has been updated with current photos! We have adorable male and female Irish Setter puppies still waiting for their new home. All of our puppies are AKC registered and have champion bloodlines. They have been given their first round of vaccinations, de-worming, and have been vet checked. All puppies come with a health guarantee. Each puppy is only $800 which includes the AKC paperwork with limited registration (which is perfect to have your puppy as a family pet, hunting, etc.). We also offer full registration for an additional $800 if you plan to show your puppy and/or would like to keep the option to breed your puppy available in the future. We are located just north of Tulsa in Collinsville, Oklahoma. We can deliver your puppy or in some instances meet half-way. Please call us at 918-304-6601 or e-mail us with any questions or to reserve your puppy.

Puppies are now three weeks old!

At three weeks old, the puppies page has been updated with photos of each individual puppy. If you've made a deposit, please contact us to select your puppy. Selection is based on the order of the deposit -- if you are the first deposit, you have the first pick and so on.

As of 12/13/2013, all puppies have been started on puppy food three times a day. They love it! They're becoming very playful and much more observant of the world around them. The weather warmed up today, and we were able to take a little field trip outside to soak up the sun. Enjoy the photos and the puppy cam, and be sure to let us know what you think or if you have any questions!

About Us

Harley when he was a puppy!

Welcome to Red Leaf Kennels! We are a small kennel located in Collinsville, Oklahoma (about 20 miles North of Tulsa) dedicated to breeding quality Irish Setters. Our dogs are raised in a beautiful, open country setting, and our puppies are socialized in our home alongside our family. We breed for quality, temperment, and personality, and strive to match our puppies with loving families as dedicated as we are.

Irish Setters are highly energetic dogs, with great personalities and zest for life. Their long, silky coats are a beautiful deep mahogany red and require grooming. Fully grown, Irish Setters weigh between 50 and 65 pounds. Irish Setters make excellent show dogs, and are also used as bird dogs with skillful hunting ability. Most importantly, Irish Setters are known for their gentle demeanor with children, and as loyal family companions. As far as dog breeds are concerned, Irish Setters live long lives--upwards of a 16 year lifespan. They are a healthy breed as well, and are not as prone to conditions such as hip displasia, which is common in many pure breeds.
